I'm looking for a new monitor, 24" or 27", any suggestions?

David.

Hi David,
I buy all my computer items for here,

www.aria.co.uk/Products/Monitors+%26+TVs

I don't have one as yet but told the best monitor for photo work is
Dell UltraSharp with IPS...some thing like this.

www.aria.co.uk/Products/Monitors+%26+TVs/26+inch+%2B/27%22+Dell+UltraSharp+U2713HM+Widescreen+IPS+DisplayPort+Monitor+?productId=53190

Hope this helps you.

Hi David,

I've got an Eizo ColorEdge CG243W which is excellent and I would recommend you consider Eizo monitors.

They have probably improved since I bought mine, but the monitor I have covers almost all the Adobe RGB colour space, it comes with Eizo's ColorNavigator app which makes calibration very easy, and it has a 5 year warranty.

I've had mine for over 3 years now and it does what it's supposed to do. I bought it from Colour Confidence who had a showroom where you could compare the various monitors and their staff were very helpful in explaining the features together with the pros and cons of each monitor.

Hope this helps,

Kaz

Thanks Kaz,
I have been looking at the Eizo and trying to decide which one, so the showroom at Colour Confidence might be a good place to start.
